Mission and Vision of SEFEU

Mission

To provide unmatched, specialist eye care to all those who need it, regardless of their ability to afford such treatment and thus work towards universal freedom from preventable and curable blindness. We will do this by enhancing our capabilities in our existing eye hospitals in India and opening new ones.

Vision

&lquot;SEFEU's mission is to realize the goal of 20/20 vision for the people of India by the year 2020.&rquot;

Launched in the year 2004. SEFEU, is run entirely by a group of committed volunteers.

SEFEU aims to actively support the free eye surgeries at Sankara Eye Centre in India, by raising funds through events, booths and through individual donors. Also, donors can sponsor specific programs such as open eye a month.

Sankara Eye Foundation Europe - SEFEU

  • SEFEU-registered non-profit organization that works in partnership with Sankara Eye Care Institutions (SECI), India, towards eradicating curable blindness in India
  • Raises funds to support eye care activities including construction of state of the art free eye hospitals and conducting free eye surgeries
